After our Midget and Varsity squads both took home their TBYFL Super Bowl trophies, each punched a ticket to play at Raymond James Stadium as part of the Day of Champions. The Midget squad took their only loss of the season to a team from the Riverview area whose size and age both put our boys at a mismatch.
Our Varsity team took the field against a future TBYFL team – the Lutz Chiefs. (they’ll be joining the TBYFL organization in 2010) Ty’s team outpaced and outplayed the Chiefs in every aspect of the game, securing a 41-6 victory at the Buccaneers stadium.
