Our Mighty Mites started the long day off with a bang and nailed their routine to the cheers of the packed stands and earned first place for their efforts. Pee Wees performed another perfect routine to finish in first place in their conference, along with the Super Midgets and Varsity. The Midgets looked amazing and worked their way to a second place finish.

The highlight of the night was watching our Super Midget squad being announced as the division grand champion as the screams and yells from every Colt parent, cheerleader, and coach echoed throughout Sickles High School.

Congratulations to all of the Colts cheerleaders and coaches as they once again proved that the Colts are the best organization in the Tampa Bay Youth Football League!

Our Mighty Mites were loud and proud to start the day off and were excited with their unanimous tie for first place with all the other teams. After their awards, they were permitted to leave the field for the day as the older squads prepared for their turn in front of the judges and fans.

The Pee Wee squad nailed their routine and came away with a 2nd place trophy for their efforts.

Our Super Midgets were unstoppable as they worked their way to not only a 1st place trophy in the American league, but a 1st place trophy for the entire Super Midget division. Well done girls and coaches!

The Colts Midget squad had what many believe to be one of the better performances of the day, regardless of division, but were edged out of first and settled with a trophy for 2nd place.

Sadly, the Varsity squad found themselves up against some very tough competition and failed to pick up a trophy yesterday.

All in all, it was a pretty big day for our cheerleaders and we thank all the coaches and parents for their support of our girls!

Don’t forget to show your support for our cheerleaders this weekend as they compete in the 2010 TBYFL Cheer-offs! This year’s event will be held at Chamberlain High School on Saturday, November 13th at noon. Our cheerleaders cheer for you all season long. Show your thanks by coming out and cheering for them Saturday!

The first will be held on Sunday, November 7th at USF.

The second is for the TBYFL Cheer-Offs. They will be held at Chamberlain High School on Saturday, November 13th from noon until, well, until they’re done! We’ve got an extra 4 teams (20 cheerleading squads) that will compete this year, so that necessitated both the earlier start and the venue change. Cheer-Offs always take place after football playoffs but before the Super Bowl, so everyone should come out and cheer for the girls that spend all season cheering for you!

Colts Elite Summer Camp Registration Form

Colts Elite Summer Camp Informational

The Westchase Colts are looking for varsity cheerleaders between 13 and 15 years old (as of December 31,2010). We practice at the Ed Radice soccer fields off of South Mobley. The season runs from July through December. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading or to brush up on the skills you already have before trying out for your high school team.

Update: There will be a car wash held to help her family offset some of the costs associated with her surgery and subsequent treatment. It will be on Saturday, December 5 at the 7-11 on the corner of Sheldon and Linebaugh from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Colts families are being urged to come out and support Adrianna.

Even though our Varsity squad placed 4th in their division, coach Debbie’s girls all nailed their routine – but were up against some extremely tough competition from outside of the TBYFL. Every cheerleader from the Colts wore their colors with pride and represented the Westchase Colts perfectly. Congratulations to all of the cheerleaders, coaches, and parents!
