RaceTrac Receipt Fund Raiser

RaceTrac gas and food market has donated $250 to each TBYFL team and is hosting a contest for the team who can collect the most receipts from RaceTrac between July 26th and our first game, Saturday August 21st. Each receipt counts, however, if you buy their TBYFL Combo Meal which includes a sandwich, chips and a fountain drink, it counts for more credit. Take a few minutes to map your closest RaceTrac and make sure to fill up your gas tank at RaceTrak for the next 4 weeks!

Whichever team wins, there will be a ceremony, with media coverage and presentation of a $1,000 check at Skyway on August 28, 2010. How exciting will it be to win on the day we are working the Skyway Concessions?!

All receipts can be turned into your head coach who will get it to the Board for submission to RaceTrac.

4th Annual Colts Golf Tournament – Aug. 22

The 4th Annual Westchase Colts Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, August 22nd at The Eagles Golf Club.

Registration begins at 7 am, with tee-off at 8 am.

Enjoy a complete program of special events, 18 holes of golf (including cart), lunch, door prizes for each player and an exciting awards banquet, all for just $360 per foursome.
Look forward to our Putting challenge on the practice green, longest drive contests, closest to the pin challenge and Tin Cup Award.

There will be an awards presentation, raffle and lunch directly following golf at the Eagles Clubhouse.

OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR FIELD MAINTENANCE AND UNIFORMS.
We are excited to finally have a ‘Home’ at Ed Radice Sports Complex. As part of our agreement with the county we will have to provide funds to cover field maintenance expenses. The funds raised from this golf tournament will go directly toward our field maintenance costs and new uniforms.

This year’s tournament is being presented by Charles Schwab.

Skyway Concession Stand Duty

The Colts day to staff the concession stand at Skyway Park is October 3rd. Sign-ups for time slots will be first come, first served and will be taken near the bridge at practice on Monday. One parent per family (or family member over the age of 15) is required to complete a 1½ hour time slot beginning at 7AM and ending at 11PM. When signing up, you will only be permitted to sign yourself up. Those unwilling to volunteer will not be allowed to pre-register for next season – football or cheer.

Team & Individual Pictures

Colts pictures were taken on August 14th and 21st at Deer Park Elementary School. The resulting images are being edited by James Broome Photography and parents should see the Colts fund-raiser magnets being made available within 10 days or so. The magnets are donated to the Colts to allow the organization to generate additional revenue to keep our players and cheerleaders looking their best as well as maintain our practice fields.

Final delivery of all photo packages should be made within the next few weeks.
