Who do I contact if I need additional registration
information?
Please contact us by email at
colts-registration@westchasecolts.com.
What is the difference between returning
registration and open registration?
Returning registration is for players and
cheerleaders who were already registered and participated in the
previous season. Open registration is for new or past players and
cheerleaders who are interested in registering with the Colts who were
not on the previous seasons active squads.
Why is the squad already full before open
registration?
Each season there are limited spots open on each
squad due to returning players and cheerleaders. Sometimes the open
roster spots will be filed with children moving up to a squad because of
their age. This tends to be more common in the younger squads.
Do you have a waiting list?
The Colts maintain a waiting list for each squad
that is full and closed. This waiting list is only valid for the current
season due to age. If a squad is full the Colts Registrar will add you
information to the waiting list and you will be notified if an opening
is available.
Can I sponsor the Colts and receive a discount on
registration?
The
Colts have a Sponsorship Incentive Program that will provide free
registration in return for a Sponsorship.
A
Sponsorship of $1000 dollars will receive 1 free registration fee. A
sponsorship of $1500 dollars will receive 2 free registrations and a
sponsorship of $2000 dollars will receive 3 free registrations. Free
registration can only be used during the current year of sponsorship.
Contact our Registrar at
colts-registration@westchasecolts.com.for
more information.
What do I need to bring to registration?
At registration the Westchase Colts will require
full payment of the registration by either check or cash and a copy
of the player or cheerleaders birth certificate to keep on file.
What is the refund Policy?
If you or your child should decide not to
participate after you have registered with the Westchase Colts, our
refund policy states that there will be no refunds after May 1st, 2007.
When and where is practice?
The Westchase Colts hold practice at Ed Radice
Sports complex on South Mobley Road.
Practice is held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
from 6pm to 8pm.
When and where are the games?
Games are played at either Skyway Park in Tampa,
Canal Park in Oldsmar or Progress Village in Brandon. Game times will
either be in the morning or afternoon depending on the team schedule.
Flag Football is played at Skyway Park on
Wednesday nights from 6pm to 8pm.
Do I need to purchase any equipment or uniforms?
The Colts provide most of the football and
cheerleading equipment. Additional equipment may need to be purchased
for example: shoes, cup, mouth piece, girdle, etc.
Do I
have to volunteer to have my child play or cheer?
The success of the
Westchase Colts depends on having a strong and active group of
volunteers and supporters.
While it is not a requirement to volunteer to
establish eligibility, we encourage all parents to do so to help support
the organization.
