Our rained-out opening day games vs the Town and Country Vikings finally took place at Skyway tonight with 3 of our 4 squads posting nice wins.
In the only game of the night that was originally started on opening day, the Pee Wee team started the game behind 6-0 and with 3 quarters of play left on the clock. Each team scored once tonight making the final score 12-6 in favor of the Vikings.
Playing at the same time on the Rodgers field at Skyway, the Colts Super Midgets played to a big 32-0 shutout.
Following the Pee Wee game, our Midget squad took the North field and played a very nice complete game on both sides of the ball to a 27-18 victory that didn’t seem as close as the score indicates.
The Varsity squad finished the night with by keeping the Vikings out of the end zone and cruising to a 22-0 win.
