Introduction
Westchase Colts Youth Football was founded in the year 2001 and now has more than 200 member families.
The Westchase Colts is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that provides an extensive youth tackle football and cheerleading program to the youths of the Tampa Bay area. It is our goal to provide a safe and wholesome atmosphere, where kids can learn and practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness, all while having a good time along the way.
Our program stresses learning lessons beyond the football field such as self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, and sportsmanship. The Westchase Colts accepts youth regardless of race, creed, athletic ability or income level.
Our safe exercises, drills, and rules are there to ensure that all kids are physically and mentally prepared for the game of football and cheerleading. We will exercise their bodies and minds in an effort to develop the skills needed in our program and in life.
Accomplishments
In just a few short years, the Westchase Colts have celebrated great success and accomplishments. Our football and cheerleading squads have competed at the highest levels which have earned SUPERBOWL and Cheer Off championships in 2003, 2004 and 2007.
Our squads consistently rank among the best in the county and have participated in the “Best of the Bay” at Raymond James Stadium. But our success and accomplishments also extend beyond the playing field.
Our organization exists only by many dedicated parents and volunteers giving their time coaching and administrating with businesses or individuals like you, financially sponsoring our teams to help defray the growing costs of equipment and league fees.
Your support is essential to each child that wants to be involved in the program. As a Sponsor, you will be supporting the youth of the Tampa Bay area. All of your tax deductible contribution will be used in direct support of the Westchase Colts football and cheerleading program.
