The Westchase Colts hope you are excited for our 2017 season! In 2017 we decided to join the most recognized you football and cheer program in the nation! We are looking forward to our first year in Pop Warner, the football and cheer season, the cheer competition, football play offs and all the other great opportunities we will have with in Pop Warner. Practice for football and cheer begins 8/1 and we still have cheer spots open, as well as spots for football players on Mighty Mite, Jr Peewee and JV. Colts Moving to Pop Warner!

The Westchase Colts are pleased to announce that we will be moving to Pop Warner starting in 2017!

Pop Warner’s balance of academics and athletics is the perfect match for the high standards we demand from our cheerleaders and football players. We will be releasing more information in the upcoming months in regards to our new home with Pop Warner and our upcoming 2017 fall season.

A few tidbits about the change:

  1. We will still be practicing at Ed Radice. As of right now, practice days and time will be the same as in the past.
  2. We will now have a home field to play on. We are still in discussions on where that will be. Most likely a high school in the area. This is an exciting new advantage of playing with Pop Warner!
  3. There will now be different weights and ages for teams. We felt the break down of teams for weights and ages were a better for youth sports and allows us to make more teams to allow everyone a chance to play more. Not only are the weights and ages better, but we are no longer limited to just one team per each division. This allows us to have as many kids as we want come join and all will get more playing time.

A child’s age on July 31 is his/her age for the season.

7th Annual Colts Golf Tournament Oct. 6

westchase-Golf5The 2013 Westchase Colts Golf Tournament will be return to the Westchase Golf Course on Sunday, October 6th. As usual, you can expect a great day of golf and shenanigans with all of your fellow Colts families. This tournament will be held in a 4-person scramble and there will be great prizes and challenging contests throughout the course.

The cost is $400 per team of four or $110 per player.

2nd Picture Night – Friday, August 30

The second night of Westchase Colts team pictures will be on Friday, August 30th. They will be taken at coach Chuck McLeod’s store – Total Athletics – located at 8340 Stone Run Ct., Suite 101, Tampa, Florida 33615.

Pictures are done using green screen and the team pictures are created from those images. Sibling pictures will also be available. Any parent wishing to have sibling pictures taken should fill out a separate order form with the children’s names and the complete the order form (attached) for the sibling pictures that you would like to order.

Every child and coach will be photographed and needs to have an order form (attached) with their name and division filled out, even if no order is being placed. This includes coaches.

Cheerleaders need to wear their FULL UNIFORM. This means long sleeved shirt, vest, skirt. They do not need to wear their game day socks and shoes…they can wear flip-flops or something comfortable since the feet will not be in the picture! Hair needs to be half-up/half-down with the game day bow. We know some girls do not have the long sleeved shirt, however we will have these for them either next week or at total athletics the night of pictures.

Coaches should wear their uniform and hats to be included in the team picture.

Football Players should arrive in full uniform with shoulder pads, jersey, and pants. (helmet, and cleats are not required)

Please arrive prior to your assigned slot with your order form completely filled out to help prevent delays. Picture orders and payment are due on picture day. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted on-site.

Due to the limited space available in the store not everyone may be allowed in the store prior to their picture being taken.
